HARRISBURG, Pa. – The New Pennsylvania Project wishes to extend a heartfelt congratulations to the voters of Pennsylvania for electing Judge Dan McCaffery to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Our organization will support those who seek to protect our rights and freedom to vote. We are proud to have knocked on more than 18,000 doors, sent 14,000 text messages to potential voters, and made 26,000 phone calls in support of Judge McCaffery this election cycle.
While we celebrate the results of tonight’s election, the work of our organization is nowhere near finished. We will quickly turn our attention back to civic education and voter registration in preparation for the 2024 Presidential election, and continue to provide civic engagement and advocate for participation in odd-year elections. In 2025, Pennsylvania will once again see crucially important judicial seats on the ballot. The New Pennsylvania Project will continue to center underrepresented and underserved communities in our work.

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
